Looking for an opportunity for your child to learn about babysitting? You’re in luck! Babysitting classes for ages 11-15 will be held on May 22 and 23 at Freeman Regional Health Services. These classes are perfect for those who are interested in starting a babysitting business or want to learn how to properly care for younger children. Topics covered include: basic first aid, child development, and emergency preparedness. Participants will also learn about how to interact with children and keep them entertained. Registrations must be received by 5/17/23 and the cost to participate is $25. To register your child, sent an email to Heather.Iversen@state.sd.us with your child’s first and last name and age.
