The volunteer program at Freeman Regional Health Services is an integral part of the entire network at Freeman Regional Health Services.
The program provides opportunities to help others in a hospital and nursing home setting.
Some of the areas for volunteer service include:
- Assistance with the Sunday afternoon worship services at Freeman Regional Nursing Home;
- Helping with resident activities which can include bingo, helping residents write letters, and reading to the residents.
- Present afternoon or evening programs.
- Meals-on-Wheels drivers and substitute drivers
- Take residents for a wheelchair ride or walk outdoors, or sit on the patio with residents.
