Volunteers

“It has been said that volunteers are the heart and soul of any organization.”

The volunteer program at Freeman Regional Health Services is an integral part of the entire network at Freeman Regional Health Services.

The program provides opportunities to help others in a hospital and nursing home setting.

Some of the areas for volunteer service include:

  • Assistance with the Sunday afternoon worship services at Freeman Regional Nursing Home;
  • Helping with resident activities which can include bingo, helping residents write letters, and reading to the residents.
  • Present afternoon or evening programs.
  • Meals-on-Wheels drivers and substitute drivers
  • Take residents for a wheelchair ride or walk outdoors, or sit on the patio with residents.

For more information about the volunteer program at Freeman Regional Health Services, please email Director of Activities for FRHS Natalie Arens at Natalie.Arens@freemanregional.com or call her at 605-925-4000.
