Memory Care Neighborhoods

Freeman Regional Nursing Home has two, 10-bed memory care neighborhoods.

These are designed to be a safe, secure environment for patients who have memory care needs or are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

FRHS staff provide “person-centered care” that focuses on each individual’s distinctive set of life experiences.

Staff focus on the unique interests of each resident and provide multiple activities designed to stimulate different senses that help create moments of joy.

One example of our individualized care is our FRHS Music & Memory program that allows residents to listen to their own personalized playlist of favorite songs and artists.
