The community is invited to kick off the South Dakota Chislic Festival with the Mutton Run 5K and 1-Mile Walk/Run on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Freeman Regional Assisted Living, located at 106 W. 7th Street, Freeman, SD.
This fun, family-friendly event begins at 8:00 a.m., with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. Pre-registration is encouraged and can be completed online at givebutter.com/muttonrun25.
Proceeds from the event will benefit senior living initiatives at Freeman Regional Health Services, supporting continued quality care and enhanced resources for our aging population.
Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or just want to show your support, there’s a place for everyone. And if you prefer not to lace up your sneakers but still want to support the cause, donations can also be made through the event page.
