Freeman Regional Health Services Scholarship Committee is happy to announce that Lily Wipf, a senior at Freeman Public High School, is the recipient of the 2022 FRHS Scholarship. Lily is the daughter of Larry and Sheila Wipf.  Lily was selected from a field of applicants based on her application packet and interview with the FRHS committee. 

While at Freeman Public, Lily has been active with various activities. These included volleyball, golf team, boys’ basketball statistician, band, chorus, oral interpretation, quiz bowl, one-act play, student council, and National Honors Society. Lily was elected Student Body President and chosen as a Character on Track leader.   

In addition to school activities, Lily has been involved in worship team, children’s choir director, and Sunday-school teacher at Bethany Mennonite Church.  She has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Oakview Terrace Nursing Home and spent many years as a camp counselor for Swan Lake.

Lily plans to continue her education at Augustana University, pursuing an undergraduate degree in biology. After college, she will attend graduate school in her chosen field of study.

Lily states, “Thank you so much to Freeman Regional Health Services, not only for selecting me as their scholarship recipient, but also for their continuous support and care to myself and this community!”
