Freeman Regional Health Services (FRHS) awards an annual $1,500 scholarship to provide resources to a high school senior who demonstrates exceptional promise, and a commitment to pursuing a career in the medical field through higher education. Graduating seniors from Freeman Public, Freeman Academy, Bridgewater/Emery, Marion and Menno are all invited to apply. After careful consideration, we are proud to announce Nora Robb of Menno High School as the recipient of the 2025 Freeman Regional Health Services Scholarship.
The daughter of Ryan and Leah Robb, Nora is actively involved in a wide range of school activities, including athletics, Student Council, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), fine arts, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), among others.
When asked for recommendations, some of the words used to describe Nora were: ambitious, persistent, dedicated, a leader and hard worker. One teacher praised her for her kindness and willingness to assist fellow classmates. Another said “Nora is not only a talented athlete, but also a caring and intelligent individual. Her passion for sports is matched only by her dedication to her teammates, community and betterment of herself.”
Nora will attend South Dakota State University this fall, where she plans to pursue a career in nursing. Her goal is to serve in a rural community or continue her education to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
This scholarship reflects Freeman Regional’s commitment to supporting and nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our goal is to empower students, like Nora, to achieve their educational aspirations and make a positive impact in the field of medicine. We congratulate Nora on this achievement and are honored to support her journey toward making a difference in healthcare.
