• How did you become a part of the board?

My father-in-law was on the board and he decided not to be anymore and I replaced him.

  • What do you enjoy about being on the board?

Getting to see how the hospital/nursing home operates and to see what we as a board can do to improve the operations and facility to better serve Freeman and the surrounding communities.

  • What is something that impresses you or you appreciate about FRHS?

The staff. They seem to be going beyond their scope of job duty to improve the operations and to accommodate the patient’s needs.

  • What do you look forward to for the future of FRHS?

I am hoping that we can finalize the building process of the new facility within a reasonable amount of time and not have to look down the road another 10 years. I realize it will take some time to do this large task, but I think we have the backing of the communities to move forward with this project.
