• How did you become a part of the board?

Rita Andersen, a long-time employee of FRHS, mentioned to me that FRHS was in need of filling a vacated board position.  Dan Gran, CEO at that time, contacted me and an asked if I would consider filling that open board position.  As an EMT I realize how important it is for the public to show support for our community.  I decided to accept the position on the board, and by doing so, hopefully I could help to further promote and be an advocate for our local healthcare system.

  • What do you enjoy about being on the board?

I appreciate the foresight of previous generations to offer healthcare to our community.  Along with the continued perseverance of our past and current board members, it is our resolve to better the full spectrum of healthcare available to our community.

  • What is something that impresses you or you appreciate about FRHS?

The dedication and determination of our staff to provide a great level of healthcare to the public.

  • What do you look forward to for the future of FRHS?

The competency and enthusiasm of our healthcare and leadership teams at FRHS gives me great optimism for the vision and future of Freeman Regional Health Services.
