Housekeeper
Freeman Regional Health Services housekeepers play an important role in patient comfort and satisfaction. In this unique housekeeping role, you can help facilitate positive employee relations with compassion and hospitality while supporting department goals. Help us ensure facilities are clean and welcoming to those in need. Some of your daily tasks would include:

  • Fulfill patient requests with kindness.
  • Deeply clean rooms in line with health care standards.
  • Note and report maintenance concerns.
  • Work well as a team player and assist the housekeeping team.
  • Safely work with a range of cleaning chemicals and solutions.

Radiology Technologist – PRN/Weekends
Responsibilities

  • Operate specialized radiographic equipment to produce quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Position anatomy, use proper breathing instructions, and select proper technical factors to produce quality radiographic images.
  • Perform all necessary computer operations to ensure proper examination documentation.

Education and Experience

  • BLS certification required.
  • CT experience preferred, but willing to train.

Hours

  • Friday 5 pm until Monday 7 am – flexibility available.
  • Furnished housing within two blocks of facility.
  • Call time and incentive pay.
  • Guaranteed 1-2 weekends a month.

Health Unit Coordinator

Full Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the charge nurse, the Health Unit Coordinator is responsible to attend to the nursing station and perform clerical, reception and communication duties. They are also responsible to assist nursing personnel in providing patient care in the assigned areas.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Due to the operation of certain power equipment, the legal minimum age for this job is 18 years.
  • Computer and secretarial skills preferred.
  • Must be willing to become certified CNA

80 hours per pay period (benefits eligible), 40 hours per week. Variable hours and weekend shifts.

Certified Nursing Assistant – Full-Time or Part-Time

Freeman Regional Health Services in Freeman, SD is seeking a part-time Evening Cook’s Assistant. Help set up the trays, drinks, assist with making desserts and dish washing. Evening hours vary between 1pm and 8pm, 8 to 16 hours per week, including every other weekend and some holidays.

Nurses Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant
Freeman Regional Assisted Living is seeking a part-time or full-time Nurses Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to provide care and support for residents of the Assisted Living. Duties focus on performing routine services and personal care for residents of the facility, including assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s). Eight hour shifts. Part-time shifts available among days, evenings, and nights, including every other weekend and every other holiday. Potential for full-time status if willing to cross-train to Freeman Regional’s Long Term Care facility.

LPN/Medication Aid
Freeman Regional Assisted Living is seeking a part-time or full-time LPN, or Medication Aide to provide care and support for residents of the Assisted Living. Duties include planning, coordinating and implementing a health care program that assists in maintaining each resident’s highest functioning level with regard to physical, social, spiritual and mental well-being.  These duties include assisting with the development of an individualized plan for each resident’s health care that will maintain, if not improve, a quality of life comparable to that enjoyed by the resident prior to moving into the facility.  The duties include performing routine services and personal care for residents of the facility, including assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s), supervising the self-administration of medications by residents, and administering medications to residents who require assistance.

Eight-hour shifts. Part-time night shifts are available as well as various other day & evening shifts. Approximately 16–36 hours a week, including every other weekend and every other holiday. Potential for full-time status if willing to cross-train to Freeman Regional’s Long Term Care facility.
