Freeman Regional Health Services

is a healthcare facility which primarily serves residents in Hutchinson, McCook and Turner Counties in Southeastern South Dakota.  Freeman Regional Health Services provides a full range of healthcare services.  
 
  Freeman Medical Center is a 25-
bed acute care critical access hospital,  offering acute care and out
patient services. 
  Oakview Terrace is a 55-bed Medicare Skilled Nursing Home providing round the clock nursing care. In addition, two 10-bed Dementia Care Units,  independent wings of Oakview Terrace, benefits residents with Alzheimer's Disease and other types of dementia. 
  
  Rural Medical Clinic in Freeman is physically connected to Freeman Medical Center.  Three satellite clinics are located in Bridgewater, Marion and  Menno.  The clinics share staffing with three full time physicians, and four mid-level practitioners.  Rural Medical Clinics is a department of Freeman Regional Health Services.


Walnut Street Village is a 10-unit congregate living apartment complex located at the corner of 6th and Walnut Streets in Freeman.  Built in 1997, the facility is an independent group living environment with support services from Freeman Regional Health Services.  Another 10-unit congregate living facility, Dewald Street Village, opened its doors in late summer, 2007.  It is connected to, and located directly west of Walnut Street Village.
